I’m the artist that did this and the story behind it is great. The client comes in and says that he wants a panda doing a handstand. After some discussion, he explains that pandas do handstands on average of six times a day because they want to, and he proclaims “I want to do more things just because I want to.” He then adds that they also do handstands against trees and piss up them - whomever pisses the highest establishes dominance. So after I finish, he writes me a note that says something along the lines of “Thank you, now I piss the highest on the tree.”
Remember how I said Formspring was stupid and that I would never get one? Well here is me being stupid. I also think that this whole ask me anything thing is a big conspiracy where once they get enough people to sign up and ask questions, they will reveal all the anonymity and all our lives will be terribly ruined. Now I have one more thing other than my Facebook, Gmail, Hotmail, Last.fm, Flickr, and Tumblr to check. Oh and my account on online dating sites.
Last Saturday evening we all went to the last Cave party. Somehow I left without knowing that my phone was gone so I thought I had left it on the cab ride back home along with my bag. I remember being dropped off in front of my apartment, paying with my credit card, then getting off feeling like I forgot something. By that time the cab was long gone and I guess I wasn’t conscious enough to run after it. In the bag were two hard drives (one was mine and the other was my friend’s), my Nikon FM2, two notebooks, RZ 220 back, headphones, some film and other miscellaneous junk — kind of like half of my life.
I got home being all retarded and I remember mumbling a bunch of things to my roommate, the next morning I woke up in my living room on the dish chair. I checked my Facebook and Shirley wrote on my wall saying that some guy named Thomas has my phone and left me his number — he dialed her because she was my last outgoing call. I thought that I left my phone with my bag on the cab so he might have been the next passenger, so Barbie and I spend the whole morning calling him and leaving him voice mails since he never picked up. Barbie watches too much Law & Order so she was telling me about all the possibilities and all the legal things we could do if he decided not to give me my phone back. Finally I called my own phone at around 10pm, he picked up and told me his phone was dead the whole day and was just able to charge it. Apparently he goes to Cooper Union and was, I guess, one of the host of the Cave party — he told me that some person called my phone at 4am while my phone was lost to tell me my bag was at Key Foods supermarket in Queens. 46th Street SUNNYSIDE. I thought oh then the cab driver must have found it while he made a stop there and then called my phone.
The next day, Monday, I met up with Thomas to get my phone back, called the number that called me saying they have my bag, took the 7 train to 46th - Bliss St. to pick up my bag at Key Foods… I have never been to this neighborhood, didn’t know this place existed, or have any intentions of ever coming here. The guy at the office gave me my bag with everything in it, not a thing missing. I asked him if he knew why this was here. He asked if I was drunk. I said yes, shamefully. He said “well then maybe you shouldn’t drink so much. I have to ask the night shift guy because he was the one that handled this.” I was really just like whatever because all that it matters was that I was able to get it back with everything in it. I thanked him and he told me to take care.
I really don’t know what the hell happened but then again I probably could have gone to Africa and returned without a single memory of it. I’m just a lucky bitch that encounters really great people.
Just now I was conversing with my mother on Skype about this, here is her input…
[3/2/10 12:51:14 AM] angie: 是不是因为你的包包太丑了

I am going horseback riding later today before my 3pm class, because like Barbie said nothing pumps us up for seminar more than a good ride.
